Getting around Milan
There are so many things to see in Milan. One thing to see for sure is the evocative and majestic "Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, which you can admire in the refectory of the convent near the sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie. A visit to the Duomo, the spectacular Cathedral of Milan, is a must! If you want to know its more modern side you can visit the Prada Foundation and admire the Bar Luce, designed by director Wes Anderson. A visit to the Castello Sforzesco, instead, will let you discover the oldest side of the city. You can walk through the streets of shopping and high fashion, discovering an exclusive world of color and elegance. But, as we mentioned, Milan is also an excellent starting point to visit the rest of Italy. In its large Central Station you can find high-speed trains that depart for many Italian destinations. In just a few hours you can arrive in Turin or Florence: even Rome is just a few hours away. A trip to Milan can become the first destination of an unforgettable journey to explore all of Italy!
