DEPARTURES NOTICE: ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT EARLY

We advise all passengers to arrive at the airport well in advance of their scheduled flight time, due to the high volume of travelers recorded in recent days and also expected in the coming days.

The significant concentration of passengers during the peak season could result in longer waiting times for all airport procedures, such as check-in, baggage drop-off, security screening, and passport control.

Therefore, we highly recommend reaching the airport with sufficient time to complete all airport procedures in a timely manner.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION: MILAN/PALERMO - NEW YORK R/T

Dear Customers,

we would like to inform you that, due to unforeseen operational reasons, Neos has suspended flights to and from Palermo (PMO) and Milan Malpensa (MXP) to New York (JFK) starting from September 15, 2026 inclusive.

This decision has become necessary due to a reduction in our fleet capacity, resulting from unscheduled extraordinary maintenance.

Customers with direct bookings will receive an email communication from Neos Customer Care, at the address provided during the booking process, with instructions on how to manage re-routing with other carriers or to request a refund for the cancelled flight.

Travel agencies can find all the information here.

Your cooperation is essential to ensure everyone’s safety.

FLIGHTS TO SALALAH CANCELLED UNTIL MAY 3rd

Due to the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East and the resulting extension of flight restrictions in the region by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), we inform you that all Neos flights departing from Italy to Oman until May 3rd inclusive will be canceled.
Customers with direct Neos bookings will receive an email at the address provided during booking with instructions for requesting a refund for the canceled flight. If there is an additional flight in the same booking that you wish to cancel following the cancellation of your flight, you will need to request a refund for the active leg of the trip by opening a ticket through the Customer Service page before your flight's departure.
Customers with bookings through tour operators should contact their tour operator's customer service.

We are constantly monitoring the situation to schedule flights to Italy in the coming days for customers waiting to return home. Updates with flight details will be published as soon as they are confirmed and authorized.

ROUND TRIP FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS FROM BARI TO NEW YORK

Dear customers, as part of a comprehensive review of its long-haul schedule, Neos announces the suspension of the direct Bari-New York flight for summer 2026.

The decision is linked to the evolving international geopolitical context and the Atlantic market, as well as excess capacity on the United States-Bari route, which has impacted demand, showing a progressive decline in recent months.

The summer 2026 schedule currently includes two flights from Milan and two from Palermo to New York's JFK Airport.

Customers with direct Neos bookings will receive an email at the address provided during booking with instructions for requesting a refund for the canceled flight or the option to rebook on an alternative flight.

Travel agencies can find all the information here.

OPERATIONAL UPDATE: FLIGHTS TO AND FROM CUBA
Dear Passengers, please be advised that, following a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) regarding the suspension of fuel supply in Cuba, Cuban airports will be unable to provide airlines with jet fuel from February 10 to March 11 2026.

Neos is in close contact with the relevant Authorities and Institutions to monitor the situation which, aside from the fuel shortage at the island's airports, presents no further critical issues.

We are therefore actively working to ensure flight operations, keeping routes active to continue flying safely to and from Cuba.

However, the schedule may require the addition of a technical stopover in neighboring countries for aircraft refueling.

Updates regarding any flight rescheduling will follow.

FIUMICINO AIRPORT

At FCO Airport, the People Mover connecting Terminal 3 to the West Satellite is temporarily suspended. A shuttle bus service is currently available. Passengers departing on flights boarding from gates E31–E44 are advised to proceed to the boarding area as early as possible.

FROM THIS SUMMER, ZANZIBAR IS EVEN CLOSER THANKS TO NEW NEOS ROUTES FROM ROME FIUMICINO VIA BARI AND CATANIA - Direct flights operating from June 27 to October 17
As part of a broader development plan that will see Rome Fiumicino’s “Leonardo Da Vinci” Airport play an increasingly important role in Neos connections to East Africa, the airline—part of Alpitour World—is further strengthening its offer to Zanzibar by introducing new flights via Bari and Catania.

The schedule, active from June 27 to October 17, features a total of 17 rotations operated on Saturdays from Rome, alternating between the two cities to expand travel options to one of the most sought-after tropical destinations. In detail, 9 rotations will be operated via Bari (June 27; July 11 and 25; August 8 and 22; September 5 and 19; October 3 and 17) and 8 via Catania (July 4 and 18; August 1 and 15; August 29; September 12 and 26; October 10).

Both bi-weekly routes will be operated using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, an aircraft that ensures a more comfortable travel experience thanks to guaranteed extra space for guests and cabin luggage, lower noise levels, improved air quality, and next-generation internet connectivity.

"East Africa represents a strategic and rapidly growing area for our network. Zanzibar continues to show extremely dynamic demand, and these new routes from Fiumicino fit perfectly into our plan to consolidate connections. Starting next winter, we will increase frequencies to the region from the current three to five weekly flights, providing travelers with greater flexibility," comments Aldo Sarnataro, Commercial Director at Neos.

Thanks to Neos's new schedule, reaching the tropical paradise of Zanzibar will be even easier. The new flights will be combinable with travel packages from all Alpitour World brands—Alpitour, Bravo, Francorosso, Eden Viaggi, and Turisanda1924—including options for Groups and MICE segments, featuring ideal resorts to host collective events and stays (such as Bravo Kiwengwa and Eden Village Kendwa Beach Resort), offering privileged access to white beaches and crystal-clear waters.

FUEL SURCHARGE INTRODUCTION - FLIGHTS DEPARTING FROM MILANO MALPENSA

Starting from March 18, 2026, a fuel surcharge will be applied to all new bookings for Neos flights departing from Milan Malpensa Airport.

This measure is necessary due to the significantly higher fuel costs at Milan Malpensa compared to other Italian and European airports, with price differentials exceeding 50%.

These elevated costs have a substantial impact on the economic sustainability of Neos flights departing from MXP and make it necessary to introduce a surcharge across all sales channels to offset the additional operating expenses incurred at the airport.

The surcharge will change according to flight duration and destination.
