No. The Neos charter service is not exclusively for businesses, but is also aimed at sports teams, schools, associations, tour operators, brokers and, more generally, groups requiring a dedicated flight.
To draw up an initial proposal, just a few key details are required: destination, desired date or period, and an approximate number of passengers. Any further requirements can be discussed in more detail at a later stage to draw up a bespoke offer.
The charter service can be requested for a wide range of destinations. Before confirming any flight, Neos carries out a feasibility study to check that the route and the airports concerned are compatible with the operational characteristics of its aircraft. Should the requested airport not be suitable, we can assess and propose alternative airports that are suitable for the flight.
Charter flights are generally offered on the basis of the aircraft's full capacity. However, the maximum number of passengers that can be carried may vary depending on the route and the operational characteristics of the airports involved. Where there are specific performance limitations, it may be necessary to reduce the number of passengers.
As these are on-demand services, there is no standard minimum notice period. Depending on the availability of the aircraft and crew, and on operational feasibility, a charter flight can be organised with as little as 24 hours' notice. However, it is advisable to submit your request as far in advance as possible.
The standard allowance on our flights is 8 kg of hand luggage and 20 kg of hold luggage per passenger. Different allowances or the carriage of special, sports or oversized equipment can be assessed when organising the flight. The quantities that can be carried are subject to the characteristics of the route and any operational or weight restrictions on the aircraft.
