One only piece of luggage per passenger is allowed in the cabin, its maximum weight must be 8 kg and the sum of its dimension cannot exceed 115 cm.

The pieces exceeding such limits must be checked-in, not only for the safety of the passengers on board but also to guarantee the maximum comfort on board. The hand luggage must always be shown upon checking in, so that the airport and the airline personnel can see it to verify weight and dimensions relative to the limits.&nbsp;

The luggage allowed in the cabin will be identified by applying a label to the air company. Each person must abide by the airline&rsquo;s norm concerning the luggage.

Passengers are allowed to carry in cabin further item as by following list:

- Lady bag or notebook 
- photo camera, video camera or CD player 
- mobile phone, other electronic apparels of small size 
- small medical equipment that should not be used on board, such as CPAP masks or portable dialysis machines, also insulin kits with syringes (the passenger must carry a prescription)

- books and magazines 
- items purchased at the airport duty free shops 
- solid and liquid medicines to be used for personal medical scope . For liquid medicines a doctor certificate is required

ITEMS ALLOWED AS CABIN BAGGAGE

List of prohibited items to be carried as cabin baggage, according to commission implementing regulation (eu) no 2015/1998 of 5 november 2015

Without prejudice to applicable safety rules, passengers are not permitted to carry the following articles into security restricted areas and on board an aircraft:

Guns, firearms and other devices that discharge projectiles &mdash; devices capable, or appearing capable, of being used to cause serious injury by discharging a projectile, including:

Firearms of all types, such as pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns; 
- Toy guns, replicas and imitation firearms capable of being mistaken for real weapons; 
- Component parts of firearms, excluding telescopic sights;

- Items designed for chopping, such as axes, hatchets and cleavers; - Ice axes and ice picks; 
- Razor blades; 
- Box cutters; 
- Knives with blades of more than 6 cm; 
- Scissors with blades of more than 6 cm as measured from the fulcrum; 
- Martial arts equipment with a sharp point or sharp edge; 
- Swords and sabres;

Workmen&rsquo;s tools &mdash; tools capable of being used either to cause serious injury or to threaten the safety of aircraft, including:

- Crowbars; 
- Drills and drill bits, including cordless portable power drills 
- Tools with a blade or a shaft of more than 6 cm capable of use as a weapon, such as screwdrivers and chisels; 
- Saws, including cordless portable power saws; 
- Blowtorches; 
- Bolt guns and nail guns,

Blunt instruments objects capable of being used to cause serious injury when used to hit, including:

- Baseball and softball bats; 
- Clubs and batons, such as billy clubs, blackjacks and night sticks; 
- Martial arts equipment;

This is taking into consideration of technical characteristics and potential dangerous goods contained for air transportation.

ASSISTIVE MOBILITY DEVICES

All fireworks, no matter how small, are forbidden in carry-on and checked baggage.

FIREWORKS

Information related to items not included in the list can be submitted to your travel agency or the airline. 
Neos is the only entitled to evaluate and approve if items are allowed for transportation.

OTHERS

Allowed only 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) per package and per passenger when used to pack not dangerous perishables on cabin or hold baggage.

The package must:

- Respect the restrictions on carry-on baggage 
- Permits the release of carbon dioxide gas 
- Checked baggage must be marked &ldquo;dry ice&rdquo; or &ldquo;carbon dioxide, solid&rdquo; and with the net weight of dry ice or an indication that there is 2.5kg or less of dry ice.

DRY ICE

If travelling with infant, you are allowed to transport milk, milk powder, pasteurized water (in baby bottle) and food infant products on quantities necessary for the flight, even though exceeding liquids, sols and aerogels restrictions.

In order to facilitate security controls at the airport, please remind to keep separate such items for a quick inspection by the airport staff.

MILK AND PRODUCTS FOR INFANT

Many countries apply restrictions on liquids through the security controls at the airports. Liquids include gels, creams, products with paste texture and food liquids as jams and jellies. Solid food is admitted onboard yet the destination country may apply restrictions for the entry of certain perishable items (for example meta, fruits and vegetables are fobdden by many countries).

<h4>Transportation of liquids as hand baggage</h4>

In order to aid controls&nbsp; at the airports, it is necessary:

- show to airport security staff all the liquids transported as hand baggage 
- tak off coats for separate inspection 
- remove from the hand baggage all personal laptops and other electronic devices in order to aid inspection of such items separately from the hand baggage.

After security controls, you can purchase liquid products at the duty-free shops or onboard, providing that are sealed on a plastic bag STEB (Sealable Tamper-Evident Bag) with receipt attached.

<h4>Transit through EU airports for passengers arriving from non-EU airports</h4>

Liquids purchased at the duty-free of airports outside EU, Switzerland, Iceland &amp; Norway are admitted as hand baggage only if sealed in specific bags (STEB) with purchase receipt attached.&nbsp;Through transit airports situated into EU territory they will be screened.

TELEVISIONS

Quantity limits: 5L per packaging and 5L total per passenger with alcohol between 24% and 70% in cabin and hold baggage.

Must be in unopened retail packagings.

Beverages containing more than 70% alcohol (more than 140 proof) are forbidden in carry-on and checked baggage. 
Alcoholic beverages containing 24% or less alcohol by volume are not restricted as hazardous materials. This includes beers and most wines.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

The transport of guns and munitions for sport hunting is allowed in the hold and it is always subjeted to a fee, depending on the destination of a short-medium-long range,up to a maximum of 5kgs of munitions a person.

For these special items the dispositions for the transportation of dangerous objects should be reminded. Once disassembled and unloaded, the guns should be inserted in rigid cases by law. After a preventive notice to the carrier, to the check-in, you will have to fill a module which will have to be presented at the office of airport policy for the controls of guns and relative documents. Here the guns will be taken from the agents of Airport Security and they will be brought alongside and put separately from the other baggage. Similarly, at the arrival, the guns will be re-delivered on appropriate special conveyor belts within the arrival area.

Pre-segnalling of such special items is requested, by turning to the travel agency, or via e-mail at the e-mail address&nbsp;<a href="mailto:tickets@neosair.it">tickets@neosair.it</a>&nbsp;with a prior notice of seven days before the flight.

FIREARMS & AMMUNITION

Diving belts must be lead free and scuba tanks must be completely empty.

Lamps and dive torches, heat generating items or batteries must be dismantled and stowed separately to prevent activation.

Dismantled batteries must be protected by securing the cables from accidental activation as by following instructions:

- inserting the batteries in their original packaging or 
- applying adhesive tape upon the cables or 
- transport each battery separately in a sealed plastic bag

DIVING EQUIPMENT

Lithium batteries may be dangerous and can cause fire if&nbsp;not&nbsp;carried properly.

Whether a lithium battery can be carried by air or not depends on its configuration and its Watt-hour (Wh) rating (for rechargeable lithium-ion/polymer batteries) or Lithium Content (LC) (for non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries).

LITHIUM BATTERIES

1 - Please ensure that you have the information available for our staff when requested on the Watt-hour (Wh) or Lithium content (g) for all the installed and spare batteries that you are planning to bring either as carry-on or check-in baggage. Lithium batteries with no or unclear marking of Watt-hour (Wh) rating or Lithium Content (LC) will be refused carriage.

- Amp-hours (Ah) to Watt-hours (Wh) Conversion: Multiply Ah by Voltage (V), (1Ah = 1,000 mAh), both of these data are displayed on the information plate of the battery.

- Example: 2.38Ah x 14.4V = 34 Wh for a laptop computer lithium-ion battery

2 - Lithium batteries must be of a type which meets the United Nations (UN) test requirements specified in the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III Section 38.3.

3 - Equipment/Electronic devices installed with built-in or plug-in lithium batteries such as laptop computers, cameras, mobile phones etc. must be switched off with measures to be taken to ensure that they cannot be accidentally activated when placed in check-in baggage

4 - The maximum number of equipment/electronic devices containing lithium batteries (each within 160Wh or 2g) for carriage in check-in baggage is 15 pieces per passenger, and up to 10 pieces in each bag. For example:

- 15 pieces per passenger in total (e.g. one passenger checks in two bags)

- 15 pieces maximum in one bag (e.g. two passengers check in one bag only)

5 - spare batteries, also called &ldquo;loose&rdquo;batteries, are those not installed in equipment. A lithium-ion battery inside your laptop computer is an installed battery. A battery carried separately, as a backup when installed battery runs low, is a spare battery 6. 7 - Portable battery charger / Power bank (with built-in lithium batteries) used to recharge the lithium-ion batteries contained in equipment, such as mobile phone, is considered as spare lithium battery.

8 - Non-rechargeable batteries with more than 2 grams of lithium (eg &lsquo;C&rsquo; size battery and above) are forbidden in any baggage and must be presented and carried as Cargo in accordance with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

9 - Lithium batteries carried in any baggage must conform to the above acceptance criteria. For safety concern, we may refuse further carriage of any excessive and unacceptable batteries upon discovery.

10 - You may be requested by our staff to declare your conformance of the above lithium batteries regulations
