The transport of sport equipment is allowed and subject to particular tariffs (see weight list), it is possible to purchase the service while booking or by accessing the "MY RESERVATION" up to 48 hours before the flight, for any need please contact the Neos Support Chat. Such luggage is considered a special load and therefore it is not part of the luggage weight. As the embarkation of sport equipment is always subject to weight/space availability, the air carrier reserves the right not to embark the special luggage if there are problems concerning the storage of luggage in the hold.

ATTENTION: TRANSPORT IN THE CABIN AND IN THE HOLD OF HOVERBOARDS IS NOT PERMITTED.

 

All sport equipment must be always well packaged in order to avoid being damaged or damaging any other adjacent luggage.

The tires must be deflated, and the wheels and the pedals taken apart while the handlebar must be turned in the direction alongside the frame. The bicycle must be well packaged in a cardboard box or inside a plastic sack. It is forbidden to embark anti-puncture spray bottles. The bicycles must be transported inside suitable containers, the absence of which will relieve Neos of all responsibilities in case of damage. The cost of the service is € 100 each way for a maximum weight of 23kg.

It is allowed to board the drone in our aircraft. If the overall measures do not exceed 115cm. it is possible to carry it by hand, but as the only baggage in the cabin. In the event that the measures exceed the predetermined maximum, the drone must be loaded in the hold also taking into account the battery voltage (see the lithium batteries section on the RESTRICTED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS page)

The oxygen tanks must be completely empty and be well packaged. The cost of the service is € 100 each way for a maximum weight of 15kg.

Golf sacks may contain the clubs and a pair of golf shoes up to a maximum weight of 15 kg.

The boards must be well packaged and must not exceed the following dimensions: 300cm x 65cm x 15 cm. The tariff to be paid varies according to the type of board. The cost of the service is € 200 each way (SURFBOARD, KITESURF) for a maximum weight of 20 kg per sack, and 30 kg per sack (WINDSURF).

Fishing rod, bait boxes, sack or basket, back or crate. No particular tariffs are granted and such equipment is subject to the normal weight tariff.

Musical instruments must not be embarked like other checked items and they must be notified in advance to the air carrier for the necessary precautions. The musical instruments of small dimensions must be carried as hand luggage while the bulky ones are handled specifically case by case.

The skis or snow board must be packed in a special case no longer than 300 cm. The cost of the service is € 30 each way for a maximum weight of 15kg.

TV and similar goods must be transported as baggage hold only, subject to signing a liability waiver form in favor of Neos. This form must be completed and signed directly at the airport check-in counters.. The cost of the service is € 50 each way for a maximum weight of 20kg.

In case of transport of material for humanitarian purposes, we inform our passengers that it can only be shipped as goods and will be therefore subject to national and international norms that are current in the country of departure and destination.

The transport of guns and munitions for sport hunting is allowed in the hold and it is always subjeted to a payment of € 200 each way for a maximum weight of 10kg. It must be always notified within 4 days prior to the flight departure to the travel agency or via e-mail at the e-mail address tickets@neosair.it

For these special embraks the dispositions for the transportation of dangerous objectsshould be reminded. Once disassembled and unloaded, the guns should be inserted in rigid cases by law. After a preventive notice to the carrier, to the check-in,you will have to fill a module which will have to be presented at the office of airport policy for the controls of guns and relative documents. Here the guns will be taken from the agents of Airport Security and they will be brought alongside and put separately from the other baggage. Similarly, at the arrival, the guns will be re-delivered on appropriate special conveyor belts within the arrival area.
