How to get around Iceland
Flights to Iceland land at Keflavík airport, which is the only airport served by international air traffic. From there, the fastest and most effective way to get around is the Flybus, an efficient bus service that takes you to the capital. This particular service is the most used by Icelanders themselves. Once you arrive in the city you can move by city bus or taxi, on foot or by bicycle. You could also rent a car and travel in complete autonomy!
What to see in Iceland
Typical restaurants and food
Icelandic cuisine consists mainly of meat and fish dishes preserved in salt, to protect them from the cold weather. Stockfish is one of the most famous and exported Icelandic ingredients in the world. Strong flavours, warm and tasty vegetables, great soups: you will enjoy a world of deliciousness!
