How to get around Dakar

Direct flights to Dakar land at Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport, which in turn serves as a stopover for other minor domestic flights. To reach the city itself, however, simply rely on the shuttle bus service, which will allow you to get around quickly and easily!

The capital of Senegal is an important port city, rich in history and dreamy landscapes. Don't miss a walk in the historic district of Médina. Here you will find the Grand Mosquée, impressive and finely decorated, or the enchanting Mosquée de la Divinité. To immerse yourselves in the daily life of the place you can also visit the central market. To learn more about the history and art of Senegal you can visit the Museum of African Arts, the National Gallery or the Institut Français, which houses works of all kinds.
