Direct flights operating from June 27 to October 17
The schedule, operating from June 27 to October 17, includes a total of 17 rotations departing on Saturdays from Rome, alternating between the two cities, to expand travel options to one of the most sought-after tropical destinations.
In detail, there will be 9 rotations via Bari (June 27; July 11 and 25; August 8 and 22; September 5 and 19; October 3 and 17) and 8 via Catania (July 4 and 18; August 1 and 15; August 29; September 12 and 26; October 10).
Both routes, operating on a biweekly basis, will be served by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner—an aircraft that ensures a more comfortable travel experience thanks to greater space for passengers and guaranteed cabin baggage allowance, reduced noise levels, improved air quality, and next-generation onboard internet connectivity.
“East Africa represents a strategic and fast-growing area for our network. Zanzibar continues to show extremely dynamic demand, and these new routes from Fiumicino fit perfectly into our plan to strengthen our connections. Starting next winter, we will increase from the current three to five weekly frequencies in the area, providing greater flexibility for travelers,” comments Aldo Sarnataro, Neos Commercial Director.
Thanks to the new Neos schedule, reaching the tropical paradise of Zanzibar will be even easier. The new flights can be combined with travel packages from all Alpitour World brands—Alpitour, Bravo, Francorosso, Eden Viaggi, and Turisanda1924—including Group and MICE segments, with facilities ideally suited to host events and group stays (such as Bravo Kiwengwa and Eden Village Kendwa Beach Resort), offering privileged access to white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
