VALUE DECLARATION

Passengers may declare that their checked baggage contains valuable items. To declare valuable items in your checked baggage, you should:

  • Report to the check-in desks 2 hours before departure for short-haul and medium-haul flights (flights lasting less than 7 hours) and 3 hours before departure for long-haul flights (flights lasting more than 7 hours).
  • Show your valid identity document (or passport), and your flight booking confirmation when checking in.
  • Provide the check-in agent with the completed Neos form (which can be downloaded from this page), including a detailed inventory of the contents inside your luggage.
  • Open your luggage in front of the check-in agent, who will verify that the valuable items declared match the quantity and condition stated on the aforementioned form.
  • Lock your luggage with a key lock or combination lock.

The contents of your luggage should be carefully packed to avoid damage during transportation. You will need to pay a fee based on the declared value of your luggage as indicated on the form.
