Getting around Tianjin

Flights to Tianjin land at the Tianjin-Binhai International Airport, which is located just 17 km from the city center. This airport also offers several domestic flights connecting Tianjin to major Chinese destinations, but it is also connected to other international airports in Southeast Asia such as Japan, Russia, or Korea. Given its strategic location and its proximity to the center, you can get around very easily. In addition to the many shuttle services that connect the airport to the city itself, there is also a metro line. Metro lines are also widely used to move around within Tianjin, as well as a dense network of buses.

What to visit in Tianjin

There are several destinations that can turn your trip to Tianjin into a unique experience. If you're a fan of modern architecture, the spectacular Tianjin Library is one destination you absolutely cannot miss. A gigantic space that leaves all its visitors speechless. If, on the other hand, you want to admire the city from a privileged point of view, there is the Tian Jin Zhi Yan Ferris wheel, which overlooks the Tzu Ya river. Imposing by day and colorful by night, it is considered one of the most modern symbols of the city. Also worth seeing is the imposing Tianjin Museum, rich in ancient artifacts and guardian of much of the history of the place. One of the city's oldest symbols, however, is the Tianjin Radio and Television Tower.
Inaugurated in 1991 after just four years of work, it is one of the tallest towers in the world and the view from the top is truly unique! Tianjin is also beloved for its “European soul”, and there is no shortage of Western-style buildings. In addition to a lovely “Little Italy”, there is also a Gothic-style cathedral in the center that hints at the beauty of Notre Dame. The Dabei Buddhist Temple, on the other hand, is a small traditional treasure to be discovered. A truly unique city that will give you unforgettable moments!
