Cuba flights: how to get around

Dozens of Low Cost flights to Cuba await you. There is no shortage of offers according to your destination. With over 6 million passengers a year, the main airport is Jose Martì, located just 18 kilometres from Havana. To reach the city, you can take advantage of the very cheap taxis or rent a car. Buses are less comfortable, and often excessively crowded. Last minute Cuba flights are also available for Varadero, Cayo Largo, Camaguey and Holguin airports.

With vintage cars and colonial architecture, Old Havana is a true journey into the past. Make sure to visit the Malecon, the city's amazing waterfront. After experiencing the sweetly nostalgic atmosphere of the capital, you can move on to the island's most dazzling gems, including the archipelago of Los Canarreos, formed by 350 pristine coral islands, Camaguey, with its strong cultural vibrancy, and the Valle del Vinales, a veritable natural sanctuary that is secluded and not very touristy, and is home to extraordinary biodiversity.

Typical bars and restaurants

The most famous Cuban cabaret is the Tropicana in Marianao, which opened in 1939. The Casa de la Musica in Miramar, Havana, is perhaps the most famous nightclub on the island. Dedicated to salsa lovers, it is open every day except Mondays. Don't miss El Gato Tuerto, Avana Cafè and the Jazz Cafe.
