What to visit in Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi is a beautiful country, full of attractions and wonders to explore. The Jätkänkynttilä bridge has a modern, avant-garde architecture which resembles a torch (its name literally means "lumberjack's torch" in Finnish) and illuminates the river Kemijoki; it is one of the most modern parts of the country, which otherwise still seems to be floating in a beautiful fairy tale. The village of Santa Claus is one of the reasons why this country is so loved and visited: you can take a walk in the snow, admire the entire area on a sleigh and experience the magic of winter. Nature reigns supreme, and the large forests will give you a unique panorama in the world. Don't forget the Northern Lights - an unforgettable sight!
