CHECK-IN PROCEDURES

PRESENTATION AT CHECK-IN
 

It is highly advisable to arrive at the airport with ample time to complete all check-in procedures without being rushed. 

Check-in operations are available two hours before the scheduled departure time for short to medium-haul connections, and three hours before long-haul connections. Check-in closes sixty minutes before departure for short to medium-haul flights and sixty minutes before for long-haul flights.
Passengers who arrive after the specified time limits may denied boarding by the airline and will not be entitled to a refund.
Boarding gates close thirty minutes before the departure time of flights.
If you arrive late we will not wait for you. Your luggage will be unloaded and you will be denied boarding.

 

Important notice DAKAR flights:
For operational reasons, starting from March 17th, 2025, for all flights departing from Dakar Airport (DSS)check-in will close 1 hour and 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passengers arriving after this deadline will not be allowed to access the check-in area and will not be boarded.

 

On the day of the scheduled departure, passengers are required to arrive at the check-in desks with a valid identity document that is acceptable for travel to the destination country, along with their ticket. Self-certifications are not accepted as proof of identity. Passengers must make sure they have valid documents necessary to enter the country of arrival as per laws and regulations of the destination country. Passengers must ensure they have a valid identity document and of any other necessary documents and meet the requirements specified by customs and immigration authorities. Penalties, sanctions, expenses or costs incurred due to the lack of any such requirements or valid documents will be charged to the passenger. If the documents exhibited by the passenger are not valid or are damaged or if the name of the passenger indicated on the ticket does not correspond to that on their identity document, the airline may deny boarding and the passenger will not be entitled to any refund.
